Every Christmas Bishop Jonathan and the family festoon their home, Bishop's Haven with decorations in celebration of birth, life, togetherness, love, generosity, hope, possibility and creativity. The decorations attract hundreds of visitors and culminate in open air singing beside the illuminated crib on Christmas Eve.
The decorations are also a means to collect for the vulnerable children of the world who like the baby Jesus are in danger, homeless and in fear for their lives. The collection goes to Save the Children. Last year, 2014, £2060 was raised from generous donations from members of the public.
